Default 81 528i trans swap
i have a 1981 528i man trans or .... parts car and i would like to know it the trans or pedal assembly or any parts will fit on my 96 318ti ... i have a auto trans right now and just want to know if any thing is swappable off of my 528..

Not a chance in hell. Two vastly different motors. If the tranny is a Getrag 265 (removable bell housing), sell it on ebay. You need a tranny from an E36 or E30 318 (twincam only) and pedals from an E36.
