+1 on this.. I got a 2 inch stromung w/ mandler bends & it is just fine... as you need to be able to maintain the velocity of the exhaust gases constant, too large of piping may reduce this velocity.

in fact, MM told me that at this point everything prior to the 'cat back' IS the bottleneck... i.e. stock manifold & cat... they suggested supersprint headers.

as for the sound - I would personally want nothing more than a QUIET, but FAST car, myself... LOL
sleeper, sleeper, sleeper.... if your exhaust is too loud, you better be able to back it up! i.e. fast as stink, or you'll look like a fool when you get smoked by a stock corolla.

I don't think a stock corolla would throw me around to easily... already lined em up with a golf, jetta, and a Civic... only thing that killed me was the Civic due to my speed limiter and him having the B16swap lol

Then again I only race on the roads I know... hehe I cheat...
