I now would literally kill for that car. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 04-28-2006, 11:01 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | TMK, the new M3 will have a 400+ hp 8cyl no? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 04-28-2006, 11:04 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | It would be cooler if they made a better version of the TT I6 for the M3 instead of the V8. Im telling my dad to forget about the cayman and save for a 335 TT. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 04-28-2006, 11:26 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | The M3 will have a v-8 varaint of the M5 v-10 engine. It will be in the 400+ range. I have seen 400-425 hp. I think the 335 had around 300, but I may be wrong. As for saving for the cayman. I would say that is difference in what he wants. More luxury car or sports coupe/hatch. Either way all I have to say is I would go for the Z4M coupe. | | | 04-28-2006, 11:35 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Quote: Originally Posted by AlaskaBlue The M3 will have a v-8 varaint of the M5 v-10 engine. The cayman is a porsche and its sweet but the 330ci can be used as a daily driver. I hated the body style of the new 3 coupe (and still kinda do) but the 3.5 tt sounds awsome. I personally think that they need to keep the 3 series true to the original and keep it a square-er performance car and develope a new series for their luxury car. I cant really see the E90 fitting in with the other 3s. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-01-2006, 04:53 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Your dad needs to get off his lazy ass and get a second job so you can have both.
