On the other hand maybe what he is not saying is that he got suckered when he bought it and is into it for that much more than it is worth. Another thought: if he does get that one sucker to pay $14k for it, does that mean that the blue book goes up for us all? Do they use comparables for blue book values? I would think that if they do, that ti sales may actually be few enough that one sale of that magnitude could actually move the needle overall. On the plus side as well, the car does look nice and clean and he apparently isn't asking so much because he spent a mint to rice it out. | | | 07-25-2006, 01:44 AM | #21 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Ohio Posts: 13 | looks like she went for $4550 ... too bad I couldnt save my pennies fast enough ^_^ | | | 07-25-2006, 02:10 AM | #22 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by ilLio looks like she went for $4550 ... too bad I couldnt save my pennies fast enough ^_^ | Thats just the bid on it,the reserve wasn't met and bidding ended. It's not a car that I want to get rid of, so I am asking what I want for it. All the miles are interstate miles and the car is actually a 96 with a bigger engine. Just a fix that needs to be made on the title. It was made in the year 95 but in Nov which atuomatically makes it a 96 Response 2... Indeed. But the car does have the 1.9. With that but-it-now price, I can buy 3 318ti sports lol... or a 318ti + M3 heh... (assuming average pricing for a ti is around $5,000-$6,000...according to KBB or what not... and the M3 around $10,000-$12,000 for the average M3) -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Mine was made in 9/95 btw. | | | 07-26-2006, 03:56 AM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | KBB values will not increase because KBB is a measure of asking prices at dealers, not actual selling price private or dealer. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | Exhaust Nuts?
