Hood Won't Open?

I was putting on the Colgan bra on my car and then I closed the hood after that I decided to open the hood again and it won't pop open. The latch is stuck and idk what to do. Has anyone had this problem before? What should I do? Is there another way to open the hood? Thanks.

Have someone pull the hood release while you pull up on the hood.

Don't pull to hard though
