If you have the diff sitting there, the output flanges pop right out with very mild prying. If you yanked on them, they would probably pop out, but use a screwdriver, since it is easier. Once you pop one out, you'll see how easy they are to replace. The new output flanges will slide right in the same hole that the old ones came out of. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 06-26-2007, 01:05 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by larryn A diff has an input flange that connects to the drive shaft, and two output flanges that connect to the two half shafts. So then those that are on the differential wont connect to the E30 axles? Is the E30 (round things at the end that connect to the diff) smaller or bigger than the one on the diff? So im replacing the differential flange (the circlular part) with an E30 diff flange so that they evenly fit? Im just double checking and if my understanding is correct. Thanks again. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
