A diff has an input flange that connects to the drive shaft, and two output flanges that connect to the two half shafts.

If you have the diff sitting there, the output flanges pop right out with very mild prying. If you yanked on them, they would probably pop out, but use a screwdriver, since it is easier. Once you pop one out, you'll see how easy they are to replace.

The new output flanges will slide right in the same hole that the old ones came out of.

So the output/diff flanges are the 2 circle things that turn the diff from the sides correct? So then those that are on the differential wont connect to the E30 axles? Is the E30 (round things at the end that connect to the diff) smaller or bigger than the one on the diff? So im replacing the differential flange (the circlular part) with an E30 diff flange so that they evenly fit?

Im just double checking and if my understanding is correct. Thanks again.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.
