Yeah. Idle now at 800 when warm. Was 1300. Only thing left are rear sub frame bushings and probably RCAB and FCABs. I've given up on my leak in the hatch. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 03-24-2014, 04:02 PM | #68 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Mostly installed a clown nose auto dimming mirror. Just need to hook up the reverse lead. Since I was doing the wiring anyway, I also installed the passenger side of a Euro glovebox/knee panel. Needs a little tweaking, but nice to have the extra storage space. I'll install the other side when I finish up the clown nose wiring. Thanks Kitty! __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! I realized I had to mod the back of the Euro storage bin to accommodate the OBD II socket when I went in for a SMOG check today. The OBD II port was originally supported by a bracket I had to remove to fit the Euro panel in place. Without the bracket, it was not attached to anything other than the electrical harness. I cut the back of the bin and made a pair of support brackets to reinforce the plastic bin from the sheet metal knee pad that was removed to install the Euro panels. It turned out nice and solid. I placed it the upper middle of the bin, so it was easily accessible without getting in the way. I regularly use the OBD socket to plug in a Bluetooth OBD II reader, so the back of the bin worked well without taking too much space when the reader is not plugged in. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! LOL But, having the door panel off, I figured out why my driver side window was loose... the rubber lining to the rear track had fallen out. Tomorrow, once the JB Weld cures, I'll put the door panel back in. Next on the list is to figure out why the inner sunroof panel doesn't slide back when the sunroof pops up. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
