replaced the front wheel bearings/ hubs. All in all not a bad job. The passenger side bearing was absolute TOAST with the race stuck to the stub axle, needed a puller to get it free. Had a difficult time getting the new hub to slip back on.

Driver's side was easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Replaced the windshield cowls, fender liners, and then made and installed a custom underpanel fashioned after the JTD design (all this done on Max)

Passenger window fell off the track again on the way home tonight (third time in 9 months). A bit cold wearing a t-shirt while driving at night with the window stuck down! My landlord let me use his garage to fix it when I got back so that was good. The forward arm on the regulator was bent over 45 degrees inward
For now the window is back up in the closed position, but I won't be able to use it at all until I get another regulator as it's pretty much beyond repair this time.

Same boat but my driver's side. Ordered my regulator from VDO. Stay away from the import ones like URO or Eurasia.

It's one of those covers that you sew on. For less than $8, I am really happy with the outcome. A very thick and padded steering wheel, about the same diameter as my old M5's wheel.

I pieced together a bunch of those sewing guides until I got the stitching I wanted without it looking cheap or too loose. You will need more thread than they give you; waxed thread is what they use but strong nylon upholstery thread held up fine for me.

Left window regulator, oil canister gasket, valve cover gaskets, and upgraded hoses and vac lines. Machine polish and a couple of coats of Griot's Nice day in the garage.

Valve cover and spark plug gaskets, new spark plugs, cabin filters, fresh oil, and K&N filter recharge.
Then Cindy Lou's 330cic broke down 13 miles from home. Ugh

Installed my other custom underpanel and wheel studs on Roddy. Discovered Max has a power steering leak...

Clay barred all the windows outside and inside using meguire's liquid detailer as a lubricant. It improved the looks and visibility. Then I tried to buff out some scratches with cerium oxide paste...no luck. John

^^Nice!

Installed another instrument cluster. This one is perfect. My car has 179,xxx miles on it. This new cluster read 199,990 and has the tamper light on. Tried the reset method...failed to work.

Wrapped my pillar covers since they were peeling. $5 fix. The tab broke, so I used a screw and a screw cover (Pic 2).

Refreshed the look of my stock muffler. Sourced a steel muffler coupling from Auto Zone, just slightly larger in diameter that the stock tip. Polished it on a buffing wheel to chrome color, then flattened one end slightly so the resulting tension between the stock tip and the now shiny coupling would bind the two together without any hardware. Slide it on the stock tip; adjust the length protruding from the bumper to suit your taste; and your done.
