bolt it down. I bolted my LTW and someone tried to steal it ( i found marks as if it was attempted to being pulled off) and I was glad I bolted it in. Also like people said if it falls off and hits another drivers windshield, say bye bye to ur ti hah.

I'm definitely going to bolt it down! I am still waiting on the parts to be delivered though. The M3 badge & Mounting Kit were special order parts that Pelican Parts had to have sent from Germany. Hopefully I receive them soon! The spoiler has been sprayed and is ready to go though.

I had the gasket on mine, but it shrunk or something and I came out one morning in the winter to broken spoiler from what freezing underneath and breaking the stud out of the spoiler. Fixed it with some nice epoxy, and you can't even tell, but just a word of caution.
Does anyone know what gasket this is referring to? A mate of mine purchased the kit and when I mentioned this recommendation to him he said there was no gasket provided in what he got.

For the guys who are familiar with the 3M VHB double sided tape, used to mount spoilers and body pieces, does anyone know what the difference is between the different numerical versions? I noticed an online consensus that the one to use is the red tape, but I found it for sale online as 3M VHB 5386 double sided tape and 3M VHB 4919 Double sided tape. Anyone know the difference?

If you had a M Tech logo already, but not a new one, could you use something like super glue (perhaps something else that doesn't dry brittle) to attach the logo in it's place on the spoiler in the absence of the adhesive that is obviously there when you get it new.

Thoughts? T.I.A.

I have what I think is an Mtech spoiler, but it doesn't have any Mtech badge on it. It has studs coming out of the bottom. What kind of spoiler could it be?

Matt, it's a M-tech if it's the one you got from Mikhail. I suspect it had been repainted. there is a pic of it in the original sale thread.

Smile what does it do?

I'd like to know from owners how the two spoilers function? Can you feel any better adhesion when driving fast? Do you notice better mileage due to smoother aerodynamics? Higher top speed? I ask because I'm most interested in performance enhancement, although aesthetics are a pleasant side effect

Its gonna be almost completely aesthetic, I doubt any gains in performance could be measured

I think I may want to sell mine. I'm not fond of drilling in the trunk...I also like the look without. What's the value on these?

Nobody? or at least a suggestion for an adhesive that doesn't dry hard, something more gummy like perhaps?

Hey are you looking to sell yours still? I would be really interested in it if you are. I'd PM you but I am too new on this forum. Please let me know.

Thanks Eddie
