Default MZ3 Style Gauges

I have seen one write up on how to install the gauges from the center console (Oil press, volt, Oil temp?) into the 318. I HATE the stock location of the cigarette lighter and plan on doing the relocation. Now I have two questions: 1) Where is that write up located? I hope that I am not crazy, and I hope that it was on this site. 2) Has anyone ever laid carbon fiber? I know about the bagging and vacuuming and baking, but this would just be more of a small cosmetic piece to hold the gauges and not structural by any standards. Thanks.

I would get aftermarket VDO gages before I used the Z3 ones.. cheaper, easier to wire up, and probably more accurate
