Default Is this too much for a 98 318?

Hi Im new to the boards and I just found a 1998 318 for sale. My neighbor who is a doctor is selling his. It has only 15000 miles on it, he barely ever drove it. It is basically new inside because it has barely been used. It is forest green and a manual transmission. No wear at all. We talked about $8000 and Im just wondering what you experts think about that? Thanks for any replies!

Sounds like a good deal, a ti?, I assume. I paid 8700 for a 98 w/115k in good, not mint condition. I overpaid by about 1k maybe little more IMO. I'd jump on it.

Unless you plan to upgrade alot. IE new suspension exhaust or even a motor swap. Then you want the one more like mine for say 6-7k

I should have added, with 15K on the car, here in Portland it would be on a lot for about 13K dollars.

The only thing I would add is to get it inspected just in case there are any gremlins in store. On a car of this condition and age it'll be worth it.

Other than that, sounds like a peach.
