They look awsome, they look bigger than 17's for some reason. When are you doing the manual swap? I wanna know how that goes, also how did you put a pic as your signature? Congrats on the rims

Yeah, they do look bigger than 17", at first I thought you may have had a typo, but it says 17 on the side of the tires. I guess since the outside ring isn't very think it has that effect.

Those wheels looks sick, they're one of my favorites on the ti... Are those the ones that the Understeer.com Ti has? I think they are. If I didn't get such an amazing deal on my 17s I may have went with those. They look awesome, congrats!

As far as i know Understeer.com doesn't sell those in 17" only 18",best place to get them is Tirerack.com there like $180 per wheel.

City-
Still waiting on a flywheel to come in from PelicanParts. Hopefully I'll have all the parts I need by next weekend. Then I just have to find some ambition....

Understeer does sell the 17's.

http://understeer.com/onlinestore-wheels.shtml

I bought mine from tirerack.com (sorry Chris). I bought them on a Wednesday at noon and had them at my door at noon on Friday. They are 17x8 with 225/45/17 Kumho Supra 712's. I really like the tires so far, not sure how they will be in the rain.

Default DASC with the A/T

Reading the email thread; I am assuming that you are currently running DASC with an automatic transmission. I am curious how the DASC and A/T combination performs. Any idea what the 0-60 time might be?

Are there any dirveability problems? I find that my A/T occasionally shifts hard, particularly if I have the selector in A 3: the sport mode.

In your opinion, will the A/T have normal reliability and service life with DASC?

Thanks in advance for any opinions/ recommendations.

Well I'm not in the market now, I've got my 17'' motorsports... But the Understeer Ti has rims just like those, they are probably 18s though. I didn't even realize they sold the wheels, I just went on their site looking for Stromung.

Yes, you assume correct. The automatic trans and the DASC combo is great. No issues with the auto so far(15k miles). I let the car shift at redline at full boost with no problems. It is suprisingly smooth. Lots of power when you want it, but drives normal when you don't. Don't hesitate to install the supercharger if you have an auto. I will do a auto to manual swap write up when I am done with mine, so everyone else can do it.

I just got the exact same wheel. I didn't see this post till today, what a coincidence. I got the wheels in today. I went with the Bridgestone Potenza G0009 in a 215/45/17 on the MM wheels. I love them so far! Tirerack comes through again...ordered them last Thursday, and they were on my doorstep today.
