It doesn't take take long at all. The longest part is probably the draining and re-filling of the coolent. The only thing that comes off is the thermostat housing. I have a 95 and found it easier the loosen the bolt holding the camshaft position sensor so I have better access to the bolts holding the thermostat housing. You will need to replace the thermostat housing gasket.
