I got a '97 but it has a burl wood dash and trim, was that a feature or an add on? It looks awesome by the way.

I have a black 96 Sport. I added M-vader seats, M3 rims and M3 front bumper. Looking to add M3 engine in the future.

I '97 sport(I think) German spec.

I'm pretty sure it's a sport(although i'm not 100%) because of the M'trim(it even has a a M logo on the steering wheel) and 16" 5 spoke rims and one of the stiffist suspensions that I've ever felt.

I just bought it about 3 weeks ago here in Germany where I'm now staitioned for $4,000 in cash and I'm in love with it.

It's purple (of all colors) but it looks good I'll post pics soon.

In Europe you can individually select all the options but they did have a M-tech package much like our "Sport" package over here. The springs and/or shocks have probably been upgraded since if they were original the shocks def. wouldn't be that stiff by now lol...not to mention the stock dampening isn't all that stiff anyway.

Mine is a 1998 Contour. It's a "luxury" one that was released in 1998. Here is a link to some of it's info.

http://www.redbookasiapacific.com/au...s.php?id=51850

It has ABS, TC and ASC, 10 CD Stacker as standard. I'm thinking it's just a Base Model with some extra stuff thrown in~! Not sure if this model was ever released in America~?
