My ti is a 1998 base model in morea grun (greenish blue) which seems to be a fairly rare color, a color that I have never seen on a sport model. The interior is sand/grey. No cruise control, no OBC, but it does have heated seats of all things. It did not come with fog lights, but I installed some myself without too much trouble. Just put Bilstein HD shocks on it which make a world of difference; the ride is solid but not harsh. My guess is that is rides much like a sport model on these shocks. I am in the process of retrofitting the car with cruise control, and I would like to put sport model sway bars on it some day. All in all I love the car and have enjoyed playing around with it.

Just bought a 95 club sport. Saved it from the crusher for a couple hundred bucks. Nothing seems to be wrong with it cept in need of new bumpers and lights along with tensioner pulleys.

Talking Hello from Buffalo NY

Hello and I am a very excited and lost owner of a well used 1998 318ti. I recently purchased the car with low low mileage of 178,000. I choose the 318ti in a desire for a "hot hatch" as Top Gear would call it. However I do not like front wheel drive so a VW or Honda was out plus I am 35 and am not a boyricer. The car has a few issues and this is my first BMW but not my first German car. The body has issues but not that bad, the interior is super clean and is unmodded which is a plus.I am uncertain what model this is, it doesnt have foglamps, but has the auto (did not want but required due to health reasons) leather interior, heated seat, ASC, ABS with odd warning light on it and has a factory sunroof. Mechanicaly I am dealling with a bad rack or pump, the steering has little assist and appears to be pissing fluid. A short test drive ( not how I normally do new cars) showed no over heating but was leaking coolant from a plastic plug underneath. A/C is inop but that is an easy fix for me and to finish it off are the warning lights of ASC, ABS and a red circle on the warning guages. Exterior is nice and shiney red but was in a accident at sometime int the past. The driverside was hit and the paint is bubbling from underneath and the passenger side fender has a wierd rot on top of the fender. But these clouded headlights have to go. For all of its issues I really wanted this car and may bite me in the ass, but from a asking price of 2950 I made it down for 2100. The owner was unaware of the rack. He claims it was sitting for over a year. I will be sure to post detailed pics soon. And hope you can help me decode what I have bought.

I am the original owner of a 95 318ti Club Sport (Hellrot Red), but not for too much longer as I have put it up for sale.

Hi Jess! Sorry for my ignorance, but in 97 was there a different option for a ///M sport is it this referring to the M-Tech styling and suspension? Just curious. Thanks!
