Check edirty6.com too (UK based also and again for all types of beemer- we'v not been going long so in need of more members-were in the back of PBMW and tend to have stands at the shows when i can get to them..)

Default hard ride

hi lads got a 318 ti sport had it for 3 weeks just wonddering is the ride ment to be so hard i mean i can feel every bump in the road is this normal? the car is a 1998 s reg with 85000 miles also is very twitchey at high speed eg past 100mph i have heard this could be down to worn bushes would be greatful for any help thanks alot

The sport is fairly hard coz of the Mtec suspension but mines still def comfortable i certainly wouldnt say it was over hard- Might be worth checking to see if a previous owner has changed any of the parts for a harder after market set up. As for the bushes- def a common thing to go and will need doing at that mileage if not prev done- same with the ball joints, anti roll links etc etc...

Custom gear knob that came on the car (yuck), Again, custom windscreen wipers that came on the car (yuck!), alpine 9812rb head unit, infinity 6x9's, 1200w pioneer 12" sub with 760w amp

Waiting for!:
18" csl's, 30mm drop, limo tint, better gear knob/wipers, and still thinking..

cheers for the info mate i had a look at the suspension and they are bilsten so not sure if is that standard on sport models or not
also how hard is it to change the bushings?
and is it possible to still get a ac exhaust cheers mate
