R134A, that's what I used for my 95, and yours is newer so that's definitely it

Thanks I just replaced my ac compressor yesterday, got me a used one at a yard for $100 and I filled it up with R134A. My last compressor went on me after charging with R134A. so I was just wondering if that was the problem then. Thank. I got the broke compressor if any one is looking for one.

well I just replaced my ac compressor my self and had to recharge it. Look to the right of the battery on the firewall and you should see the recharge nipple, it should have a black or blue cap mine is black. Start the engine, turn ac to max and follow the directions on the can. I only know how to do it but have no clue on how to properly explain. hopefully some one can reiterate better.

i think you can by the recharges at the auto store. its in a can right? theres a lil kit for it. has the little hose, 1 can, and something that connects to the valve nipple. its said to be 10% colder. im gonna give it a go since its getting REALLY HOT here in SoCal, and its fairly cheap.
