Default New member saying hello

Just bought a black 96 318ti active (i think) 105,000 thousand miles with cali top, obc, cruise, air, gray cloth interior, no fog lights, no asc, M3 contours. What a fun car to drive, I really like it so far. It took me a while to find a clean one. This site was a big help in what to look for in one of these cars, I picked up this car for 4200 from the second owner who owned it since 2000. I am just doing maintenance now as the car has been sitting and not licsensed since 2005.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the nice find. Your ti got a head start on mods already. Great place to hang out with the 318ti family here.

There is another black 96 for sale in washington that I had an interest in but it has over 200,000 thousand miles, a dented fender and a salvaged title, that car has been on craigslist for a while and I believe has changed hands once, it was originally 2900 but is now 3900 from a different poster. The car I bought was up for less than a day, I was the first to look at it. I knew it would not last for long, posted wednesday night and I bought it on thusday morning. If anybody needs help with washington or oregon cars let me know, I would be glad to help if you are shopping from out of state.

The rims are factory BMW contours, available on the M3, tire size is 245/40/17 on the rear and 225/45/17 on the front. Check out craigslist in your city.
