95 318ti club sport w/LSD 225k $2600 purchased 10-18-14
the best record keeping i have ever seen runs like it has 50k lots of maintenance records and a few up grades like Bilstein sport shocks, DEPO HID headlamps, cat back exhaust, ect. will be a great SCCA HS autocross car next year. Does have a little rust just gives Little Red Ridding Hood some character. Time to hunt down those transmission killing Mini Coopers.

Paid $5k even for a 98 base model with 100k on the odo three years ago. Adult driven and dealer maintained in a suburb of Philly. Was the cleanest example I could find on autotrader at the time. Flew up to Pennsylvania from Texas and drove it home. Had a ball doing it . John

Default 1997 318ti auto

Mine is a base model, black with sunroof
Bought it 2 years ago $3000
Very clean California car.
Changed out plastic cooling fittings etc, then changed over to evans waterless.
Been great ever since, then changed wheels, lower control arms and front shocks. Mobil 1 everytime.
Now has 179K and could prob still get $3000, worth every penny, can outrun many little POS machines out there.

FYI running 225/45 -17 can't go any lower in NY area without bending rims

I bought my ti in March 2014 for $2150. 1995, Base, 100k miles, 5-speed. Needed plenty of little things done, but it runs like a top and has no rust at all. The car's exterior has a couple dings, faded paint, foggy headlights, a cracked marker light, missing undertray under the engine, and missing foglight covers. Maybe a 7/10 since most of the stuff is easily and cheaply replaced, but it needs love. Interior is missing a couple trim pieces, torn arm rest, loose shift knob, stained and lumpy seats, and a sagging headliner and poorly repaired a-pillars. 7/10. Again, most of the issues were pretty cheap and easy to fix. Upgrades and bonuses: It came with some nice OEM BMW rims and bilstein shocks, OEM roof racks, upgraded stereo and speakers. It had fairly low miles and it was pre-OBDII, which was important to me since I will be swapping the engine and I live in NY state.
