Mine flew off yesterday at 105. Too much speed for the aged adhesive.

Driving home a few days ago, I hit 118 mph & still accelerating. Kinda surprised the old gal could still do it. The motor has 223k miles on it. A year ago, I pulled the injectors and had them rebuilt and calibrated. It's a good idea to pull them every 100k miles or so, IMO. Its pretty cheap to do and you can replace the rotted rubber seals at the same time.

Is it in my head or can you tell the engine changing timing at high speeds??? At 70 & 90 mph it takes less pedal to go faster.
