Well, well, well......very nice looking Ti. I guess the RD strut brace does fit with DASC after all.

Yeah, the car does look good.. The RD strut bar does look good, but I have to wonder how effective it is given that it is hinged..

TT: I'm running a Hartge exhaust. I found the last one on the shelf (for the 318ti) from BMP.

Platanos: Besides the strut brace and the Eibach sway bars, nothing else. No spring or shock modifications. I'm going to leave it in its factory 'street' form.

Chris

Default RD Struct brace + DASC

Actually, it does not fit. If you bolt it on, it gives the appearance of fitting...Until you actually give it more than 30% (or so) throttle at which point the throttle cable retainer contacts the bar and then end of acceleration

To remedy this, I used three equal-thickness washers (2mm thick). That was about all of the clearance I needed and now the retainer plate has full movement.

Good to know that the Racing Dynamics strut bar fits with the DASC. I was wondering if it did.

Very nice Chris! Instaed of a BBK which may throw off your bias significantly consider the e36 325/28/M3 or e46 330 upgrades, all of which will drastically improve braking. You are still dealing with a 2800lb car and 200hp max. A true BBK seems overkill IMO. All in all the cleanest most tasteful Ti I've sen in a long time. Congrats.

I never gave this much consideration...I was always concerned with unsprung weight and rotational weight/torque on the rear axles...Are you saying that having too light a wheel upsets braking values?

I was about to go with the UUC big-brake kit...But, I'm hearing that I should add weight to the wheels?

Doesn't a standard 6 cyl bar fit after the removal of the "hump" intake manifold?

Anyways nice setup.
