couple of quick tire questions

the rims I bought for by '96 ti are BBS M class replicas by ADR. they are 17x8.5 inches with a 40mm offset. The best tire size would probably be 245/40/17 but my friend picked up 245/45/17's from the warehouse by mistake, you guys think these tires and rims will fit without any modifications to the wheel well? I'm not sure how the 8.5 inch rims will fit in the front. Anyway I'm sure one of you knows how wide and how tall you can go on a ti. Thanks.

They will be just fine unless your car is lowered to the ground

thanks a lot, I just wasn't sure about the front, my car has new suspension same height though.

I'm pretty sure that is the exact setup I have. I know the tires are the same as mine, just not sure about the rim width.

My car is lowered, BavAuto springs, Bilstein Struts/shocks, fits fine.

how's the handling compaired to having 205 tires to 245 in the front, must be nice, almost too much rubber on the road. But yeah the wheels are gonna be real nice, real beefy 8.5 inch wide m-class.
