As for the 1 of 550 comment on your listing, what does that refer to? It's rare nonetheless. Still hope to see it next week. I have a 98 avus/sport/cali/black-gray/5-speed and would interested to know how many of those there are, too...how would I find out? Auction looks like it is doing well...over $4k and more than 5 days left...good luck! | | | 06-21-2009, 03:56 AM | #24 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 255 | Super Nice car! Cali top, red millpoint, sport - rare combination. It would hurt me if I had to sell a car that nice, and you have sold it twice now? Is their a betting pool I can get in on whether you will buy it back for a 3rd time? Good Luck with your sale __________________ (00=[][]=00) _______________ ________ Steve Still looking for a monthy driver 1988 M3 parked 1967 2000cs parked | | | 06-21-2009, 05:40 PM | #25 | Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Ohio Posts: 75 | Thanks for the compliments on the car. It does hurt to sell it again The car is once again pending sale to either Platanos this week or will I'll be meeting up with another bimmer enthusiast from columbus next weekend at the vintage grand prix at mid-ohio. Anyone else in the ohio area going to see the race?? Wouldnt mind meeting some ti.org members there. As for the betting pool .. i'll buy it back in a heartbeat (yes for the third time) when I have the funds again, but getting the new owner to part with it will be the only odds against me. | | | 07-04-2009, 02:45 AM | #26 | I miss my Ti....... :( Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 828 | Still available? | | | 07-04-2009, 03:58 AM | #27 | Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Ohio Posts: 75 | Yes the car is still available. I have been looking for so long to find this scheme in manual and in such good condition. I am seriously interested but I actually live in California. (perfect car for the perfect area eyy?) Are you selling it locally or are shipping options in the cards? | | | 07-16-2009, 09:02 PM | #29 | Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Ohio Posts: 75 | I have no problem shipping the car. The gentleman I bought the car back from had it shipped to him. When I bought it back, I was to impatient to wait so I drove and picked it up. He used DAS auto transport. There is a terminal in cleveland I dropped it off at. I sent you an email with my phone if you have questions or want to arrange something.
