Sorry for the late notice. I've been out of town for work the last two weeks and I have to leave again after Thanksgiving. I've got a bunch of stuff to do around here and I need to spend some quality time with the Frau. Sorry for the lameness. Somebody please take lots of pictures and eat some White Castles for me. Mishchief, I still want to get that airbox from you some time. I might be able to make it down your way closer to Christmas. Anywho, you guys have fun and drive safely getting there and back. | | | 11-19-2006, 04:56 AM | #97 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by bullmand need to spend some quality time with the Frau. | Bring her. Maybe next time a pizza place. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti 2003 MINI Cooper S 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 11-20-2006, 02:45 AM | #100 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | How many no-shows? I'LL GET EM FOR YA!! It wasn't much trouble to set it up, I really wish I could have gone though. There's this incredible pizza place about 2 mi away from my house, rated #1 cheese steak in Central NJ, and top 10 pizzas of NJ too! Though the best pizza I've ever had is the original Pizzeria Uno in Chicago, though it takes 45 minutes per pie there. | | | 11-20-2006, 06:00 AM | #101 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Amboy, NJ Posts: 333 | I got called in to work. I would love to see some. I hope it was a good time. Sorry I was unable to make it to the meet. Was really nice to meet those of you who came -- the little burgers are a bit over rated I think, definitely go for pizza next time, lol. Wish more people could have made it, but worth the trip none the less. Was awesome to see the 3.2 in J!m's car... /drool. Hope your mono doesn't get too bad -- thats a real sucky illness . | | | 11-21-2006, 06:34 AM | #105 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Northern New Jersey Posts: 395 | Sucks that I couldn't go, my partner in class took off with some chick out of state and I had to plan an entire interview production by myself. Wouldn't have been a problem with 2 people, but I ended up working on it from 10am Sunday to about 7am Monday when I left for school with no sleep. Had to go shoot for an intro, edit, finalize a script and a mess of other things. Also, it's not fun doing a ten minute interview, on camera, in the lights, with no sleep for over 24 hours. Bright side of things is that the production kicked ass and I got high praises from the professor... I think the other kid is dropping the class because I haven't heard from him. He always was a little loopy. I really should have noted that I wasn't going to the meet, but honestly, it wasn't the first thing on my mind Sunday Morning when I was ready to strangle someone. The car and I could have used a nice drive too. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
