Immediately after watching that on TV, I went in to "look" at BMWs at our local dealer. There was a beautiful blue 318ti on the sales floor. The sales guy asked what it would take for me to buy one tonight and I said get the price at or near list price with no markups. He said "done". I was out of there with all papers signed in a total of 45 minutes. They opened the dealer glass doors for me and let me drive it off the showroom floor! (Riverside, CA BMW dealer). I have loved the car all these years. Same clutch for 13 years! 202,000 miles. | | | 04-28-2011, 12:27 AM | #93 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Houston, Texas Posts: 17 | Dont know why but... So typically cars assembled in September and after are titled for the next model year. Although that practice is not consistent as much since manufacturers seem to introduce new models at different times of the year these days. | | | 05-15-2011, 02:15 AM | #96 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: San Diego Posts: 14 | I voted for 98 but it turns about december 1997. I think it was 31.12.97 | | | 06-20-2011, 05:51 AM | #97 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2011 Location: UK (Europe) Posts: 6 | Quote: Originally Posted by J!m I oredered in March 1998, received in April 1998.
