I think on a stock ti, the M3 sway is going to have less tension. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-06-2011, 02:23 AM | #77 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | It's connected to the rest of the front m3 suspension on my Ti, which is right below the s52 in my Ti. I drove my ti with stock springs and SA Konis for years. Still have the stock sways. Installed H&R Race Springs last year. Sounds like you need seat time and instruction once you replace your springs. Might also want to hook up with a BMW CCA club over NASA. For now anyway. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-06-2011, 04:56 AM | #79 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | I cant stand BMW elitests __________________ 96 Schwartz II 318ti M-Sport with M44 *SOLD* 95 Hellrot Red 318ti with S52 Swap (Mine) 94 Boston Green 325i Saloon with M50TU (Hers) 68 White VW Bus Camper (Parts Bus) 71 Pink VW Bus Westfalia (The fixer upper) | | | 07-06-2011, 11:27 AM | #80 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by kuleinc I cant stand BMW elitests ![Wink](http://www.318ti.org/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif) | Why do you say that? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 07-06-2011, 03:32 PM | #81 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Oakland Posts: 187 | I was really turned off to bmwcca, most people were BMW snobs, can't stand that... Wheel spacers give the car a little bit of added track widthand affect scrub radius, but don't affect the sway bar at all. For learning, I'd suggest neither NASA or BMWCCA, unless either of the events is just a school with no race groups. There are other groups that don't have the race groups that tend to get more track time than the organizations that have race groups.
