Some "mechanic" has stripped the engine because of a blown head gasket which was actually the water pump and he cant remember how to put the engine back together. Just have to arrange a car transporter to pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Its bought and paid for already! Its Boston Green with 100K on it. Will get some pics of it when I get it home __________________ QUATTRO IST FUR SISSIES | | | 11-03-2011, 07:48 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Northern Ireland Posts: 49 | This is how the black compact now sits with 156K miles on it too! I have installed jamex coilovers and swaped the tyres to 205/40/17s. Put clear indi's all round and painted the grills black. Oh and the STOOOOOPID spoiler got sent to the skip!!!! Also have had 3 other e46's along with this but cant bring myself to sell it!!! __________________ QUATTRO IST FUR SISSIES Last edited by JonnyM; 11-03-2011 at 07:55 PM. | | | 12-13-2011, 10:38 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Northern Ireland Posts: 49 | My latest addition! 2001 318ti with only 64000 miles!!!! __________________ QUATTRO IST FUR SISSIES | | | 12-13-2011, 11:02 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | You do love your ti's __________________ Im guessing im the youngest member on here with a S52 power'ed Ti at 16 years old! | | | 12-14-2011, 05:11 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | mmmmm e46 ti!!!! give me that! i would have to do something about the front end though __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 12-14-2011, 12:19 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Aug 2009 Location: Northern Ireland Posts: 49 | Cant help but love ti's! Its an 04 model. The wheels are being swapped for either an oem set or BBS splits. Oh and meet the other BMW in my life! I spent the best part of a year stripping it and rebuilding it with uprated parts with my father in law as something to do over winter a couple of years back!!! It's currently having the rear pulled apart again for a Z4M bumper and exhaust system! __________________ QUATTRO IST FUR SISSIES | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
