Also had a max flow airfilter/Induction kit fitted at same time so difficult to say what has made the performance difference, but there certainly is an improvement. Not massive, but the car feels so much more free and easy to drive. Gets up and goes that much easier... aslo sounds so so so nice! Loving it. Heres a few pics of the fitting, my old exhaust was "slightly" knackered to say the least! Its not 100% straight, and I am gonna be trying to fix that just cos its annoying me! | | | 05-04-2006, 09:20 AM | #47 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: England, UK Posts: 1,288 | mine's on straight garage fitted it so can't offer any advice hot to get it straight. __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 05-04-2006, 10:46 AM | #48 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | well it sounds like a wet fart at the mo. the dodgy garage i went to (just wanted to get it on quick cos i was excited) didnt fit it properly and i'm getting it re done at the weekend. __________________ '96 318ti in Montreal Blue :m-tec sideskirts,m-bootspoiler,clear corners & repeaters .m-tech side mouldings, Magnex Exhaust System, leather armrest, F-15 gear Knob, 18" Evo 2's. When first fitted it sounds REAL quiet but as it soots up it gets louder. __________________ 1995 BMW 316i Cosmos Black Mods: • Magnex Cat-Back Exhaust • Smoked Corner Lights + Repeators • M3 17" Wheels • De-Baffled Air Box • AC HandBrake Handle and Gear Knob • DEPO Euro Epsiloids + Predator Chronium Rings • Chrome Interior bits •IE Poly-Urethane RSFMs • Kenwood Power Series Audio • Powder Coated e36 325 Front Callipers • Sports Seats | | | 05-04-2006, 11:00 AM | #50 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Watford, herts, England Posts: 805 | Quote: Originally Posted by stormos jeez! how long did it take them? took the one i use for EVERYTHING i can't be assed took 45 mins and did a fantastic job. they cleaned the car underside too before refitting where the exhaust sits. mine sounds quite loud now too.
