Take these opportunities to learn--specifically, how to improve your business: Do what you say you're gonna do, Don't jump the gun on getting a product out there--if it's well-built, the money will come. Don't air somebody's dirty laundry, and don't take everything as a personal attack. Mostly, people are listing concerns (and not everyone can do this rationally). Do try and fix problems (they will happen, even to the best) how you'd like them done for you. A little customer service goes a long way towards the good will in your product. I think we all want to see you succeed here, as it benefits the community. A s/c setup that lets us spank the coupes and sedans that give us crap on bf.c is a welcome opportunity, and if we can do it for less than the DASC then it's all the better. You've got 46 pages here to learn from, quite possibly the largest thread on these boards. You also have something going at bf.c as I understand. These are your case studies to learn where your faults and strengths are. Make a list, and brainstorm ways to improve. Keep working at it, and don't let the turkeys get you down. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 05-05-2006, 03:05 PM | #456 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2006 Posts: 17 | Quote: Originally Posted by FATHER Hi guys,I'm in the work is about 2:25 in PR, so yesterday i not receive the blower, i call Joe or Gus later. Thanks for the help... | FATHER, I think you made the right decision by dropping out of the BFc thread. I'm sure you know it's a tiny minded minority that caused the problems. The majority are fair, helpful, usually knowledgeable, and sometime funny. It seems you should have your delivery today. Can't wait for the update. I have one question about the kit. Does it alter fuel and timing software? If so, how? I couldn't tell from the website and am very curious what is being used. Good luck. Thanks for your always fair minded posts. +1 for the Poet-Philosopher nominee! | | | 05-05-2006, 03:51 PM | #457 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Let's not jump to conclusions. I hope this all works out for FATHER too, it would be great if he got what he paid for. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-05-2006, 07:35 PM | #458 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Puerto Rico Posts: 885 | Hi Guys, two good news the first... yesterday the doctor said that the little "father" was very good The second: I talk with Gus about two minutes ago, nice guy, he talk spanish so i undesrtand all, the blower arrive in my home in the middle of the next week, believme people is true, the problem was that i am the first customer out of USA and the have some problems with the pakage , shipping, etc. but he talk to me, the call to fedex, the call me again and explain all. Gus said me the MA stage 1 is like the DASC so the 3 is much more powerfull because that the auto tranny is not the best choice and my rims is too big (20''). I not need a yet car, the only i like is my birthday present(the supercharger) and my car a little more fast in 0-60 time thats all. In my island Puerto Rico we don't have much way to much mph only in the race way the fridays and saturday. __________________ BMW...MY NEW TOY Mods: Some plastic parts, ///M Wheels and me | | | 05-10-2006, 08:04 PM | #460 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Can you dyno your car once you get the new S/C in? It's sure taking them a long time to get all the parts to you! For what it's worth, it took 3 days for me to get my DASC kit... __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 05-11-2006, 03:10 PM | #465 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Atleast he is still calling you. I would expected him to take the money and run. I guess this way he can steal your money and still stay in buisness. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
