Anything on the breakdown and repair of the folding sliding roof unit?
separating the canvas from the track and replacing parts that connect the two.
I have broken pieces in the leading edge of the roof and its off the track.
Thanx

Hi guys...someone tried to steal our sons' cali top by of course going through the top...prying it up...insurance is thinking about totalling it in the AM...We would love to SAVE it but are afraid to do the repair replace ourselves...what if we get half way through and can not complete???? BMW wants $4800 to do the job...Can anyone help with some experienced advice???? We are desperate!!! The fabric is good, the motor works fine, the roof closes and opens with great difficulty and is NOW leaking...several ribs are broken and when is closes on the one side the roof sticks up and the whole darn thing closes slightly out of square!!! Thanks so much...the car is a nice ride, we HATE to see it trashed for a stupid roof! Thanks in advance!
