Hi Rob...

I pre-ordered and paid already for my '97 Z3 M44 (DASC). My Sn on Bimmerforums.com is Joemamaman. Email is Jpark@hra.com
I'm in Torrance, CA.

Any update on when I can expect to receive the PnP M44 setup?
I should be getting the car fired up this weekend.

Thanks.
-Joe.

Your harness should be done tomorrow. If you want to come down and pick it up, you can or it will ship on Monday.

Fantastic. I won't be able to come down (lots of family plans) so please ship them out on Monday.

Looking forward to them!

Thanks, and have a great weekend!

PM Sent. We're still evaluating the hardwire kits, but have started building the PnP kits.

Got the M44 CoP conversion last night!

Everything looks great, and very simple. The harness is well made and fit perfect! The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The plate looks like it was sand blasted... and I may paint it in the future (along with my valve cover). Anyway, everything lined up well, and was really a 15min install.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
The couple tips I'd say, are:
-Hook up the connector to the coil pack before you bolt them down
and start with #4 first (farthest back). When the coilpacks are bolted
down, it's hard to get the connector on.
-Don't overtighten the coil packs (allen bolts).

Everything else was absolute cake.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can't wait to try it out... but I recently pulled the SC off again to revisit a couple items. My goal is to have the car fired up again this weekend.

Overall, the quality is top notch, and the swap was incredibly simple!
These are the best kinda mods~

I'll get some better pics up soon.

We are considering an introductory offer on pre-production units.

Regular price for the M44 Plug & Play Coil On Plug kit will be $350.

Introductory price will be $315 for the first handful of kits.

Game, I did not see a place to buy the M-44 kit? Says it is coming? LMK how to make it happen. A deal is a deal, is a deal!

For the pre-production units we don't have a formal process setup at the website.

Place your order with our PayPal account.

rob@hqautosport.com

Just list the order as "M44 PnP COP kit" $315, shipped in the US

Our T-shirt promo ended in August but we will throw in a shirt. We are in "while supplies last" mode for shirts.

The only thing is that we don't have every size available. Let Rob know in PayPal what shirt size you want. If we have it we will ship it, if not we will provide the next size available.

+1, I can't ask for a deal and then get a deal and not buy? That would not be right. Lets just hope this does something good for my car!

If nothing else it will clean up the engine bay. It's not magic, but should eliminate any problems you had with spark getting to the plugs. It's not a turbo charger, won't improve the paint, or grant the drive Stig-like skills.
