BAM! done. Everything works except for the clutch pedal, it doesn't want to go back up when you push it down because I forgot how to set the clutch spring in place so I will figure that out later. I also bleed the clutch system now since it's easier with the motor out. Posts: 3,156 | Looks good Thanh! If you wouldn't mind, I'd like to use some of your photos for clarification in the next revision of my swap manual. Please contact me via PM when you get a few minutes. Talk to you soon! PS the difference in the drive shaft length is huge because one car is an auto and the other is manual. If both cars had the same transmision, the driveshaft length would be much closer... | | | 09-04-2007, 01:54 PM | #39 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by J!m PS the difference in the drive shaft length is huge because one car is an auto and the other is manual. I didn't take a picture of thw EWS II chip but it's located behind your glove box. It should be the last box at the bottom that says EWS I/II. 9/07/2007 Started to paint my car parts. Here's the new Montego blue! This flange that your red arrow is pointing to. Is that flange already on your automatic 318ti? Quote: Originally Posted by Phamster | Also, The bracket right above the word "bolt". You don't use them on the automatic but they're their if you ever want to do 5 speed. | | | 09-08-2007, 05:41 PM | #45 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | 9/08/2007 A couple of pictures outside in the daytime and the name of the color on my car.
