Mostly meaning I got 3 of the 4 bolts in place. Any suggestions for getting the fourth bolt aligned are welcome. I'll zip around tomorrow to see if I can get the suspension to settle. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Retighten all the nuts. __________________ 2000 M5 -> 1996 318ti -> 1997 328i Instagram: ndrewchow YouTube: MINIzguy | | | 03-07-2015, 08:41 PM | #25 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by BlackBMWs Mostly meaning I got 3 of the 4 bolts in place. Then move the weight side to side to see how that changes the alignment of the bar? Or, maybe shim the attachment point? __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! Tried both as you can imagine as well as cranking the two towers together with a small winch. I didn't want to damage anything so I didn't force it. I sent a note to John. If no other options, I'll ask him to reweld a new connection block and redrill it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Updated: Used 3/8" allen bolts and oblonged the top bracket holes. All installed and better now. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Let's just say an 11mm flare nut wrench is a must for this job. That is all. __________________ 1995 318ti Base - Cosmosschwarz/Sandgrau R.I.P. 1997 318ti Active - Alpinweiß III/Sandgrau 2013 328i Coupe - Le Mans Blau | | | 03-22-2015, 11:55 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Quote: Originally Posted by zoner Did the brake upgrade ('98+ vented rotor) on my '97 yesterday. Good luck with it.
