Snooze ya loose on the DASC purchase. Maybe he'll go back to his original BIG A$$ TURBO BUILD idea. Sounds like fun. I'd love to trade for an S52 or something haha, that'd be an ideal trade so that it can go in the wife's ti. | | | 09-06-2013, 02:37 AM | #19 | Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Florida Posts: 64 | I almost didn't even bother posting that I had a DASC on here. I;m busy and realistically have nowhere to keep my car once I made it immobile by taking the DASC off. | | | 09-06-2013, 02:38 AM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | Because Sean is in a "funny boy" mood tonight, I think it is only fair that I get promoted to first local guy inline for parts | | | 09-06-2013, 02:41 AM | #21 | Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Florida Posts: 64 | I wish any of you had a use for the Differential. Its the best damn thing since, well anything. I love that diff as much as the DASC. It's that damn good. It's MM's Variable LSD, with 4 clutch packs (the max that can be put into a 168mm diff). Its so infinitely controllable in a slide its not even funny. | | | 09-06-2013, 02:48 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | I have 2 extra diffs already...this M coupe diff is in 3 massive totes in my tiny garage. I have room for a car...we can tear it down at my house or get a storage unit for a few months. Just some ideas. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 09-06-2013, 02:54 AM | #23 | Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Florida Posts: 64 | Quote: Originally Posted by teetime4one I have 2 extra diffs already...this M coupe diff is in 3 massive totes in my tiny garage. Got the Getrag, pedals, shift linkages, and a 3.45 diff...just need all the clutch/flywheel parts and a driveshaft (if my old E30 one doesnt fit). | | | 09-06-2013, 02:00 PM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2013 Location: Lakeland, FL Posts: 229 | I love it when a plan comes together. Drive it to Sean's house, aka Teetime Pick a Part. I am still in domestic negotiations with the misses on how much more family time I would have if I just bought your DASC verses the inevitable I6 swap in my TI. It's really not for me, it's about the family :-) | | | 09-06-2013, 02:16 PM | #27 | Member Join Date: Nov 2012 Location: Florida Posts: 64 | Quote: Originally Posted by wake74 I love it when a plan comes together. You guys should just split the cost of buying it whole and have whatever part you want! | | | 09-06-2013, 10:33 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | I want the gas in the tank.
