I hope so or you will need to do the frame cut. Also you will need to do a tiny block mod to fit the turbo compressor side. I will send pictures of which area needs to be cut to make the housing fit. It's not too bad but you have to grind out a little of structure to make that big turbo fit John S | | | 04-11-2011, 06:49 AM | #243 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | 2.5" is the piping and i saw ur pics of the block mod but didnt knew i had to do frame mods __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-11-2011, 08:09 AM | #244 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | Oh man I hope to get a plane ticket to WA sometime and get to drive the car Jean __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-11-2011, 08:11 AM | #245 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | that would be awesome dude __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-11-2011, 08:22 AM | #246 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | As soon as the turbo is put it then I'll try and make it out. __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-11-2011, 08:24 AM | #247 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | k sounds good __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-11-2011, 02:58 PM | #248 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Quote: Originally Posted by Jean H.318TI 2.5" is the piping and i saw ur pics of the block mod but didnt knew i had to do frame mods | You might not with 2.5" off the turbo. The turbo is 2" and I know 2" pipe will not require a frame mod. 2.5" most likely will fit if you oval the pipe at the frame | | | 04-23-2011, 06:56 AM | #249 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | little update, order all the turbo hoses and clamps and silicone reducers and all that good stuff. also deleted some more weight from the car around 50# little sneak preview __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-23-2011, 07:44 PM | #250 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | lexan sunroof delete? | | | 04-24-2011, 02:00 AM | #251 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | maybe lol that sunroof is heavy as hell __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-24-2011, 02:35 AM | #252 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: Miami, FL Posts: 874 | why didnt you just do the CF sunroof that john has? | | | 04-24-2011, 09:09 PM | #253 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | i will in the future and gonna put cf vinil on the rest of the roof __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 04-25-2011, 06:54 AM | #254 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Really?
