I have no idea what item #50 is. My car came stock with rear headrests. I also had vented rotors up front stock. When did you put a hitch on? Fog lights are in the mail

ok, list and count updated. the earlier years didn't have rear headrests, at least in the US. i have to add them. the hitch has been ordered, but hasn't arrived yet. i ordered it last weekend. i'm getting hitches for both our cars and a hitch mounted bike rack with the tilt option. the hitches will come in handy later when i want to pull a tire trailer to the track too

I bought a Swagman ball mount three bike carrier. That way I can tow my motorcycle and or carry my bicycle. I can send pics of the bike carrier later.

did you reverse the hitch base from the way it's "supposed" to be installed? i got the tilt model so i could still access the hatch area and the base would have to be flipped from the way you have it mounted for it to tilt/fold down properly.

i liked the look of the individual bike carriers better on the XP model. it would also allow me to only mount up two of them if i so desire (since i get to assemble it). still waiting for my additional locking knobs, receiver locks, coupler locks (for use through the bottom of the hitch ball shank) and cover (so the bikes don't get all dusty/wet hanging back there). i finally got the da'lan hitch installed at midnight last night ... what a pain in the a$$! be VERY glad you installed your hitch before the large case diff. everything is within an inch of each other in there. i'm going to do a write up on the install so you'll see what i mean.

The shank of the hitch faces straight down. The receiver has a bend that takes it up and level with the ground. It has it's short comings, since I can't open the hatch once the receiver/carrier is installed. Not that big a deal, I just make sure I have what I need in the hatch before I mount it.

I'd like to see the swivel version you have, maybe it's new. Maybe I can buy just the receiver part and swap mine.

Has anyone ever tried installing E39 headlight washers? They seem to be stationary vs. the expensive telescoping E36 washers. MUCH cheaper! ($30 for the pair @ Tisher) You could probably use a standard $17 windshield washer pump in the extra tank spot and wire it to come on with either the front or rear washer. Any random tubing from the hardware store should work....
