After not driving my club sport in 2 years, I had a blast bringing this home today. Looking forward to the summer! Some may disagree with that decision, but living in So Cal, its open more often than not, and I love it. I guess I'm lucky; the motor was replaced before I bought it and it doesn't leak at all; the wind noise is not noticeable even at "extra-legal" highway speeds. Lots of sunshine and fresh air, without the compromises of a convertible. There's not much else like it. Sun was shining on the way home and was warming my face up. It was pretty rad. You have the wheels I want. I’ve already been looking for a set. __________________ | | | 04-02-2018, 10:28 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | I also sold my 95 slicktop for my 96 california edition Lucky you, you both have the wind deflector... __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 04-02-2018, 11:46 PM | #5 | Member Join Date: Sep 2017 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 50 | wind deflector Quote: Originally Posted by FunElan I also sold my 95 slicktop for my 96 california edition Lucky you, you both have the wind deflector... | Can't the wind deflector be retrofitted to older models? I gotta say its pretty nice; I can have normal conversations with my passengers at 80mph and its no problem. Hell, the biggest issue with having it is the anxiety I have over something breaking and me not being able to get parts! -Neel | | | 04-03-2018, 06:27 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Quote: Originally Posted by apexspeedtech Can't the wind deflector be retrofitted to older models? I shouldn't be jealous having a black/black cali top myself, but, irrationally, I can't resist. Are those sport trimmings original, or were they added by a PO? I'm very curious whether any cali tops were also built to club sport spec from the factory. | | | 04-12-2018, 06:04 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2012 Location: Sacramento, CA Posts: 2,451 | Like a Cali M Sport?
