I know this is 2 years later than your post, but I am doing a similar swap with an e30 320i which has a Getrag 240 as well. I am just wondering how the Getrag 240 is holding up. In addition to this did you just grind a few mm off the slave rod? Did it grind on the clutch housing with the stock length? Thanks in advance.
