Has some interior wear & tear, and of course a drivers window that's temperamental. On the day I brought him home; After suspension work and a drop; took out black/grey sport seats and other interior to clean; Replaced with Dove Grey leather Vaders and rear seats; I'm going to redo some black door panels and change the inserts to dove grey to match the seats. Also, did some cooling system work (thermostat and water pump), looks like the 2 plastic block fittings have been changed sometime in the recent past... Just ordered a bunch of Euro parts to update interior and more... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I totally dig this new car. It will only get better! __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-26-2013, 12:15 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Thanks Sean! Yeah, I ordered some parts from MissKitty, so that will be another weekend of fun when the parts get here. I still need to re-do the headliner, fix the sliding panel on the sunroof (broken clips, I suspect), and order some more leather colorant to re-dye the rear seats, as they need some touch-up. The shocks were completely dead (probably original!), so I decided to get some German Coilovers ($399 Shipped!) to revamp the ride... Much better, nice and firm. Car is actually a little low, I will probably raise it up 3/4" or so before winter.. __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Dove would get too dirty if I owned them between kids and myself. That's a very sharp looking Ti. What are suspension details? | | | 08-26-2013, 01:35 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Quote: Originally Posted by M-technik-3 Would dig it the Vaders were darker. What are suspension details? | It is a bit of a contrast right now, should look more congruous when I do door panels with dove grey inserts. Suspension is TA Technics coilovers; http://www.ebay.com/itm/TA-TECHNIX-A...6402ec&vxp=mtr Arrived at my door in 4 days from Germany... They are not track level coilovers (the D2's I have on my black ti are decent for HPDE, but still lack true track feel), but they are certainly sufficient for DD duties... No harsher than the H&R race springs w/Bilsteins that I ran for years previously... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I'll need to get back with you in 5K miles or so and see if they still perform as well as they do now. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 08-27-2013, 03:57 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Posts: 407 | Damn this is looking good! __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 08-27-2013, 04:14 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | Thanks Jamie! __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I plan to turn that car into a drive-to-the-track track day car.... basically a track car with door windows, AC, and a trailer hitch. __________________ SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE!
