S52, cams, ported, headers, intake, maf, injectors, tune, every external and internal important mod is done. More power than I really need but no mods to spend money on in that department and I am a 45 year mod addict I could of put in the forged LS1 I have but just to much power for my real world needs, I always build a well balance car then add power that is in balance with the car and my needs. I have beaten a ton of cars with far more power in many kinds of events... This is mainly a street car that will see some very hot laps on tracks around North America over the next couple of years or so. It will also see many national parks, monuments, etc......hauling my with and our two big doggies. I plan to have it done in a couple of months at the very most, gathering all the parts, info, etc....going to be pretty much plug and play, not much custom stuff, mostly building the collector and exhaust but I have a lift and have done it a few times, far easier on a lift. It would of been great to have a shop like I did when young, I have swapped an engine in the snow, back when I was around 18 or so. First trans swap, alone, 16 years old, dropped a cast iron 3 spd overdrive tranny on my chest and was stuck and about to pass out, a bit of adrenalin saved me, more careful since then. Lift, cherry picker, tranny jack, air tools, lighting, heated, cooled shop, a huge list of tools...... And I learn something new all the time Thanks, Rick | | | 08-22-2013, 06:02 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2013 Location: Morgan Utah Posts: 214 | Parts are pouring in! I was an un fun job, to say the least but in a few days I will have them back and can get busy on the car. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
