So much has been going on and I havent been on here lately. My Ti recently took a **** so I think I might part it out. The rack and pinion is going out, the window clips broke again, the head is warped and head gasket is likely blown, front calipers need rebuild, stock exhaust is in bad shape, needs rear tires, rear suspension needs wear items replaced, and so on... Some things I just replaced/ in good shape for sale: OE water pump with cast mtal impeller, thermostat housing 95*, upper rad hoses, both water necks, front tires Nitto NeoGen 225/45/17, front suspension bushings, upgraded stereo system Clarion HU with hideaway pro audio EQ, Audiobahn 3 way component front speakers with custom fiberglassed kick panels and door pods, 50 farad capacitor Made by Cliff Designs, MA Audio Mono sub amp 1800 watts, Alpine 4 ch amp, Audiobahn 2 way components in rear arm rest pads fiberglassed pods, 12" custom subwoofer pod in trunk with Audiobahn Eternal subwoofer, new interstate battery, new rad shroud and fan and relay and temp sensor, and much more. I will be posting a thread soon with prices and lots of pics. LMK if interested in anything. Above all that, I do custom powder coating and would be able to tear the motor down and coat things for you. If you want the valve cover modified I also do TIG Welding. | | | 03-21-2013, 01:50 AM | #99 | Junior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: philadelphia Posts: 23 | What's up with the catch cans? you still have them available and how much if so. | | | 03-22-2013, 12:27 AM | #100 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Elkhart, IN Posts: 128 | Quote: Originally Posted by chzman What's up with the catch cans? you still have them available and how much if so. | I moved on to bigger things like full engine builds, coatings and fabrication (tig welding etc...) There were a couple guys that complained about the material the tank was made of is too thin so I gave them refunds and tried making them better. The problem for me was cost being too high and overall look was crap. The profit margins were too slim and volume too low to make it possible to pay bills and keep up with consumables. I have the stuff to make a few more but not much time or desire. If you specify exactly what you want I can see about making a few more out of my remaining inventory? | | | 03-31-2013, 06:40 AM | #101 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Texxas Posts: 110 | Bumpity. I'm interested in one. I think this is what I need. I've got a whack turbo setup from PO I'm trying to troubleshoot. Keep blowing out the CCV and MAF requires weekly (or more) cleaning. Oil keeps getting on the sensor. Definitely oil in my intake, seems like one of these would help me sleep better at night. | | | 04-10-2013, 10:54 PM | #102 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Elkhart, IN Posts: 128 | Quote: Originally Posted by NeoMishMoo Bumpity. I can make you a tank that has a single inlet to attach to the valve cover barb. I have open filter or billet filter. Depending on what all you want and color you choose they run from $100 to $200 shipped. | | | 04-11-2013, 09:50 PM | #103 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2011 Location: Texxas Posts: 110 | All pics on this thread are dead. My turbo was already on when I bought the car. Still not sure exactly how the setup is supposed to work. I've got a ton of oil going through the intercooler and gunking up the MAF. Would one of these help? because it goes on the intake manifold right? So oil will have already hit the MAF? I'm still interested but not sure if it will help my main problem. I'm tearing the whole kit off this coming week, as I've got an exhaust manifold leak, so any help would be greatly appreciated. | | | 04-12-2013, 01:25 AM | #104 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: Elkhart, IN Posts: 128 | I had hundreds of photos that needed to get sorted so the links got broken when the reorganizing photobucket happened. We are rebuilding m42 out of a 91 318is. I read you were on to bigger things - congrats that's always cool. Any chance you could be swayed into another catch can for a near local (I'm just outside Ft. Wayne)hoosier brother? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
