Jess, Those are some clean looking wheels! Those wheels are a pain in the ass to find a clean set. How much did the powder coating company charge you when it was all said and done? (if you don't mind me asking)

looks great, I'm not really feeling the red stickers though, it kinda throws off the black and gold theme

Thanks James! My camera settings were all jacked up for some reason. Still need a little tweaking, but not bad for a lil 5 megapixel Casio. My buddy already agreed to do a professional shoot once the car is finished You can definitely see the contrast between the semi-gloss/gloss black a little better in these new pics.

Thanks Minninips, the powder coating ended up costing 125 for the centers and 220 for the barrels, so $345 total. Plus a can of Duplicolor primer and a can of Duplicolor semi-gloss black paint for the center caps.

It does kinda clash, but it'll go well with my typeR badge Honestly, I'm still a little undecided on the decals. I'll leave them for now and see how I feel once they're on the car. They should look better once I reposition the wheel center in the barrel so it'll line up with the center cap

It suddenly occured to me that I have 3 other centercaps. So after trying the remaining caps on the first wheel that I assembled, I found one that lines up perfectly with the decal/valve stem hole. No need to take the wheel apart to reposition the center.

either you're getting an extra set and letting me borrow one when not in use or you messed up the other center caps by accident (lol).

Bobby lives closer, you should swap wheels with him for a week, see if you like the style.
