Left window wouldn't go up. Right window wouldn't go down. Blown fuse #14. I'm wondering if this is a sign of things to come or just one of those things? __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 05-11-2009, 04:45 AM | #2 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | That's an indication that your karma is out of balance. ;-) Personally, I wouldn't stress about it unless it happens again. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! About a month ago I had my dash out becuase I was painting it, and everytime I started the car the rear brake light fuse blew. I would have to put in a new one everytime it cranked up if I needed to drive, very annoying and I have no idea what could have caused that condition. It went back to normal once everything was put back in and installed properly. | | | 05-11-2009, 01:57 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I didn't do anything except drive. I'm not going to lower my window again until I get some spare 30A fuses. Guess it was just one of those things. Fuses heat up and after 12 years it was time. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 05-11-2009, 06:33 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | If it happens again, pull the panels off and check the wires aren't getting worn. The fiber wrap kind of falls apart after time, exposing the bundle. You'll probably notice some wonky behavior with the side mirrors if this is the cause. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
