We'll start off with the drive shaft. Since the 328is shaft is a little short, I had to extend the shaft just a little bit. (Thanks Gizmo318i for the tip) --------------------Before---------------------- --------------------After----------------------- Since my 1997 Ti didn't have the fuel pressure regulator located at the bottom of the car, I had to mount one up. Couple of quick questions. do you have a random vacuum line the ends right up by the intake. its has suction i have yet to figure out what it is for. The other thing is what fan are you going to be running stock fan clutch or a custom eclectic one? Keep up the good work. | | | 10-03-2007, 02:01 PM | #145 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: Round Rock, TX Posts: 399 | Quote: Originally Posted by jiggerjosh Looking good just got mine running today. Keep up the good work. | It's either connect to the round black thing by your starter or it connects to your fuel pressure regulator. If you got a pic of the hose I can tell you exact where it goes. | | | 10-03-2007, 02:32 PM | #146 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: UK Posts: 197 | if its connected to the round black thing (vacuum reservoir) by the starter it is suction for the exhuast flag regulator. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...36&hg=18&fg=20 I just blocked up the pipe after the vacuum reservoir and tied it back; as I'm not using a stock backbox. | | | 10-03-2007, 04:06 PM | #147 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Ft. I take it this would just plug into the stock air box then? There is a hole made for it, I know b/c I had teh same problem. I didn't know where the fuel pressure regulator vaccum hose went until I talk to another guy and he was right, there is a hole under the intake manifold for it. | | | 10-04-2007, 06:09 AM | #149 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Ft. I mounted my fuel pressure regulator just like yours but i believe my tube runs up to a breather that is attached to the manifold with a rubber bushing. I think you may be plugging your fpr onto the vacuum port for the exhaust flap. | | | 10-04-2007, 08:47 PM | #150 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Richmond Hill, GA Posts: 1,231 | damn dude, I love the amount of work and the attention to detail.
