Just learned I have an active. Without the firm I would have searched for hours. | | | 05-30-2020, 05:29 AM | #338 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2020 Location: Las Vegas, NV Posts: 1 | Hello everybody, I'm glad I finally could get registered after 12 times trying to answer the questions. That was funny. I own a '98 318ti base with 235K miles, it's my daily drive for work. I use to do the maintenance and repairs myself trying to keep it in good shape. Actually I have some challenges, one of them is replace the fan motor... I was looking at google the easiest way but it looks to be about 6 hrs job... any advise is welcome please. Thank you guys. I just bought my first 318ti, it's Cosmos Black and was manufactured in '97. It's a base model with no ASC+T but does have full black leather, sun roof, air con and sports wheel so seems like a good spec to me. It has 112k miles on the clock with the previous owner having it for the last 12 years and only put 48k on it during that time. He did a good job looking after it as the arches and sills are in really good condition, which is rare with our weather. It just needs the full cooling system replacing and the suspension arms and bushes looking at which I prefer to patching up rust. Going to be using it as a daily and maybe do a couple of track days in it. If I really like it I'll probably look to do a b28 swap at some point 0:-). | | | 03-26-2021, 03:33 PM | #340 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2021 Location: Hercules Posts: 6 | Got a 1996 alpine white 318ti with 64 thousand miles running with a glass pack and everything else is stock,I believe.
