But I fly in the what we refer to as the Tube of Torture. Your car has a on/off again misfire but it makes your car sound cool in idle. Or You race cars when they don't know your racing. Even with a manual car. Dam inline 4 is only good for saving gas.😑 | | | 06-02-2015, 05:26 PM | #294 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | When the door latch seals are always cracked. Two days ago friend was closing my boot and he just pushed it from above and when it got to aprox half i saw what is going to happen. I thought i will loose my ears since i was in the car. That hatch is heavy no doubt but i like it | | | 10-02-2017, 12:22 AM | #296 | Member Join Date: Aug 2017 Location: MA Posts: 65 | Don't close it that way the metal is not thick there and will stress crack over time. My last one required welding to fix it. The catalytic converters fail about every 5 years. The rear corners of the wheel arches are normally rusted. | | | 11-11-2017, 11:17 PM | #297 | Junior Member Join Date: May 2017 Location: Croatia Posts: 26 | Quote: Originally Posted by E30-M3 Don't close it that way the metal is not thick there and will stress crack over time. I bring it by hand 5-6 inches above closing point and thats enough. Even less if any door/window is opened. I thought my catalytic converter is bad because i barely passed eco test this year but i think its short drives and not achieving work temp what affected it and that it will be better now since i drive it much more than before. How do you diagnose a bad catalytic converter? __________________ Its how you drive - lowest fuel consumption 5.6l/100km, 1000km sample | | | 11-15-2017, 11:59 PM | #298 | Member Join Date: Oct 2015 Location: Slidell, Louisiana USA Posts: 89 | When you forget how to execute a 3-point turn... cause you haven't had to in years. __________________ 1998 318ti base that appears to be moulting | | | 11-16-2017, 02:31 AM | #299 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | You know when the window regulator only has a few ups/downs before it goes THUNK! __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 12-13-2017, 05:28 PM | #300 | Member Join Date: Jul 2017 Location: Chicago Area Posts: 40 | This thread is hilarious and I'd like to revive it. When the backwards-flat-brimmed-monster-energy-hat wearing kid whose parents bought him a Golf GTI guns it at a stoplight thinking he can take you but little does he know you have a 6 cylinder swap and you leave him with nothing but the taste of dust in his mouth. When you can fit 4 full sized 17" wheels and tires in the trunk. __________________ 1995 318ti | Alpine White | M52 | 5MT 2004 330Ci | Black Sapphire | M54 | 6MT "Don't shift for me, save the Manuals!"
