He left a note so my insurance is taking care of it and it's not costing me anything. The rear quarter panel was punched in hard 2-3 inches next to the door. I went to a reputable body shop full of freshly painted BMW, Maserati, Porsche. It's been 3 weeks now I'm waiting to be called but he says that it's taking long because he's ordered the rear quarter panel direct from BMW (new OEM). Because he didn't want to chance rusty scrapyard stuff. I was surprised to hear they still sell OEM body panels for the Ti (and let him know), he insisted it's OEM. Is that a fact? Also, if it's true, does anyone know how long it takes to arrive? Is it BMW Germany or USA? 3 weeks already seems like an eternity cause I only drive her in summer! Any thoughts on this? __________________
