Help! Suspension Noise

I have a 95 318ti Active with 135K miles and I replaced the original front struts with Bilstein HDs, as well as rear Bilstein HDs last August. Included rear shock mounts, gaskets, shock tower bracing, reinforcements, spring pads, as well as new control arms with new bushings. All purchased from BavAuto. New tires as well with front end alignment. Ever since I have had a noise like a loud rubber rubbing sound and creaking when turning and/or going over small and large bumps. Gotten suggestion to unhook the brake cables (didn't help) off the strut. BavAuto said it was unlikely the struts. The car rides fine, just noisy. Any suggestions from the guru's out there before I pull it apart and replace one strut at a time with the old struts?
