Exclamation head resurfacing?????????

ok looking to purchase m44 used head from member of 318ti.org that threw a rod. i plan on valve job etc. but being a mechanic and having to purchase a used engine for my ti because of warpage i know the tolerances are very tight for resufacing. my question is has anyone resufaced these heads and how much can you go before valve clearance issues. I'm rebuilding old motor with new pistons etc. to get ready for DASC. your help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
