The 328 puts out 230hp. Even if Shiv weren't already working on it, I would think that getting way more than 300hp with a turbo or two would be a given. It's pretty obvious that the factory is selling it de-tuned. . .maybe to leave some room for the 400hp M3. . .maybe for CAFE. . .

I still don't see a reason to become very excited over the 1er.
Should I be excited because the 135 might be ~200lbs lighter than the 335(1600 kg, 3527 lbs.), and will not be available as a hatchback?

The current M5 puts out 500hp, but I'm really not interested in a 4100-lb. car.
